Do you want to work with children and young people and take advantage of their curiosity and desire to learn? As a teacher specializing in after-school centers, you work with teaching and other educational activities in after-school centers and schools. You support and stimulate children's and young people's learning before, during and after the school day. You plan and carry out teaching and other educational activities so that children and young people can learn and develop in a safe environment. Advanced subject leisure pedagogy You study leisure pedagogy as your specialization subject. In the advanced subject, you acquire knowledge about the cultural and social contexts of children and young people as well as play and learning in different environments. You study, for example, language development, digitization, outdoor pedagogy, drama pedagogy and other aesthetic expressions. In the advanced subject, you write your thesis for 15 higher education credits. Sports and health, music or image You also choose to study one of the following subjects: sports and health, music or visual arts. In this subject, you develop your ability to plan, implement and analyze teaching while developing your own competence in the subject. Special emphasis is placed on you as a future teacher developing your intercultural competence. With it your ability to lead educational activities and teaching where children and young people from different backgrounds meet, play and learn. Please note that Sports and Health 1/Sports and Health A is an eligibility requirement to be able to choose sports and health as a teaching subject. The educational science core You study special pedagogy, conflict management and research methodology in courses within the educational science core (60 higher education credits). You read part of the educational science core within your area of ​​specialization, such as theory of learning. Entry Requirements

You are not eligible to apply to this program because:

The minimum age is 18.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied in English at high school or a degree
- Have passed IELTS level 6.5 or TOEFL 95 or above.

Minimum education level: Bachelor's.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
