Project details
We are open to applications from any candidate whose proposed research fits into Loughborough London’s activities across seven Institutes, but particularly welcome applications on the following interdisciplinary areas for the Institute for International Management, Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Institute for Sport Business.
Bold research projects that are interdisciplinary and impact-focused are needed for pathways to sustainable futures that respond to social and environmental crises. How are social movements responding to the climate crisis and the sixth mass extinction? How might local democracy experiments address resilient and sustainable economies? Which leadership models and technologies are emerging to tackle Net Zero? Is corporate-social-responsibility fit for purpose today? These are examples of critical questions we aim to interrogate to advance our Loughborough London strategic agenda on Sustainable Futures.
Loughborough London offers an internationally-recognised faculty of academics with teaching expertise and relevant active research.
This project is fully funded, covering fees and stipend. We welcome applications from international candidates. Loughborough University has an applied research culture. In REF 2021, 94% of the work submitted was judged to be top-rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. Loughborough London offers a vibrant research culture with a community based on mutual support and collaboration. Through our Doctoral College there are continual opportunities for building important research skills and networks among your peers and research academics.
These are school-wide studentships and supervisors may be located within one of several institutes within Loughborough University London.
