📖Program Curriculum
Project details Additive Manufacturing (AM), also known as 3D Printing, is a family of manufacturing technologies that build physical artefacts by adding material layer by layer.
Unlike traditional manufacturing technologies, AM can make Extremely Complex Geometries (ECGs) that would be impossible with traditional manufacturing methods. ECGs can enhance product performance in terms of weight reduction, vibration damping, heat exchange, osteointegration, etc. ECGs bring endless opportunities to designers, but they also highlight the need for designers to be capable of designing products that capitalise on such opportunities. Designing ECGs that AM is capable of is not trivial with current design tools.
Although some dedicated CAD packages provide functionalities that allow the creation of ECGs, there are still many limitations in the geometries that can be achieved or in the level and type of skills required to achieve such complex shapes and integrate them with other components and assemblies in complex products. This project will investigate current design tools for ECGs and explore alternative solutions to facilitate the creation and development of ECGs that overcome existing obstacles and challenges.

upload
the application documents.
Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your
application within
2-3
days and proceed to the university or ask
you for further clarification
After it has been processed to the university you will receive
your unique
application ID from each university.
The university may contact you directly for further questions.
We will then follow up each week with the university for updates.
As soon as
there is any update we will let you know.
If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
