📖Program Curriculum
Project details Neural ranking models for information retrieval (IR) use deep neural networks to rank search results in response to a query. Recently proposed neural models learn representations of language from raw text that can bridge the gap between query and document vocabulary.
We are seeking PhD candidates interested in combining deep learning and information retrieval to design and evaluate neural retrieval methods with an emphasis on increasing their continual lifelong learning performance for multi-modal, cross-modal and/or unimodal text data.
Some areas of focus:
Create, evaluate, and describe novel neural methods for information retrieval with a focus on improving continual lifelong learning performance; Create, evaluate, and describe novel neural methods that generate multi-modal summaries comprising of text aligned with images that contain information presented in a meaningful order that best answers the user’s query; Create, evaluate, and describe novel neural methods for improving relevance feedback; Create, evaluate, and describe novel neural methods for cross-modal information retrieval.

After it has been processed to the university you will receive

application ID from each university.

If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
