📖Program Curriculum
The first aims to introduce you to relevant science and theory of occupational therapy and enable you to begin to apply this during your first two placements. The Chartered Management Institute qualification will also be completed during this.
Modules
Human Body, Mind, and Occupation - 20 credits
Occupational Science - 10 credits
Communication and Professionalism - 10 credits
Occupational Therapy in Practice One - 20 credits
Leading Diverse Workforces (CMI module) - 10 credits
Occupational Therapy in Practice Two - 20 credits
We regularly review our course content, to make it relevant and current for the benefit of our students. For these reasons, course modules may be updated.
The second aims to consolidate learning of occupational therapy skills and theory providing a more in-depth application to the final placement. This will also provide a focus on research and will culminate with a service improvement project.

Evidence-Based Practice for Occupational Therapists - 20 credits
Occupational Therapy in Practice Three - 30 credits
Applied Research and Service Improvement - 30 credits
