Academic and Professional Skills

This module focuses on academic skills such as reading researching academic writing critical analysis referencing presentation. You’ll be guided in understanding assignment briefs and making plans before starting coursework. You will also develop an understanding of what skills are relevant in the professional world especially in aviation.
Fundamentals of Management

This module will help you to understand fundamental aviation financial and economic concepts. It’ll provide an understanding of key subjects such as financial statements ratio analysis and market structures. You’ll also gain an overview of airline financial performance the overriding reasons for their performance and airline metrics.
PPL Theory
This module will give you the theoretical knowledge to meet the requirements of the UK CAA (or EASA) Private Pilot Licence. All subjects are covered in depth allowing you to go on to take the PPL(A) theory exams. You’ll gain a sound understanding of basic aircraft operations the atmosphere human physiology/psychology and aviation law.
