Compulsory courses (9 credits)
The student must carry out the following three activities (9 credits):
QCF6013 Directed readings
QCF6030 Interdisciplinary seminar I: problem and methodology
QCF6031 Interdisciplinary seminar II: problematic and methodology
Optional courses (12 credits)
The student must carry out four activities among the following (twelve credits):
QCF6032 Social and cultural change
QCF6033 Populations, economy and living environments
QCF6034 Powers and social interactions
QCF6035 Identity and otherness
QCF6036 Memory, knowledge and representations
QCF6037 Thematic course VI
Complementary courses (9 credits)
After agreement with the director of the graduate studies committee, nine credits chosen from the activities of another graduate program.
Research credits (15 credits)
To successfully complete the program, students must carry out research work counting for 15 credits.
RESEARCH WORK
Essay (15 credits)
The essay is a limited work of approximately thirty pages. The student deals with a particular problem and demonstrates that he has the qualities required to carry out a scientific approach. This work can be the fruit of the exploration of sources as it can take the form of a well-supported reflection on an aspect of research in history. The essay is conducted by a teacher chosen by the student.
