The Times Higher Education (THE) have just released the Asia University Rankings 2023, a comprehensive comparison of research-intensive institutions that is trusted by students, academics, universities, industry and governments.<\/p>\n

The universities are judged across all their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook – using the same 13 performance indicators as the\u00a0THE<\/em> World University Rankings.<\/p>\n

In 2023, China’s institutions take the top spot, with Tsinghua University and Peking University taking first and second positions for the fourth year in a row. It comes as little surprise that the country is predominant in the rankings, given that the higher education sector is attracting increasing attention for its global competitiveness.
