This module aims to position hospitality and service as fundamental operations of the travel and tourism industry. You’ll learn about regulatory frameworks relevant to the accommodation and hospitality sectors and reflect on these in the context of the customer facing industry.
Tourism Destinations and Attractions

Airport Operations

This module enables you to investigate analyse and evaluate the range and scope of opportunities in tourism in relation to changes in consumer needs and expectations. You’ll undertake analysis of how world tourism trends are changing and what these mean for destinations communities dependent on tourism and developers of new tourism products.
Sustainability and Responsible Tourism

The overall goal for global society is sustainable development and so travel tourism and hospitality are expected to implement business practice with responsibility and adopt sustainability management principles. Key trips and visits including overseas opportunities will mean learners explore the world of aviation making connections with industry professionals and visiting key industry settings.
