📖Program Curriculum
Your early studies will introduce you to how to become a successful scholar of English, critical reading, the principles and terminology used in the study and analysis of language and how to write essays.
You will then choose your pathways with modules to suit your own interests, before focusing in depth on your chosen research projects.
In your second year, you have the option of taking the internationally recognised CELTA qualification.
Final year modules typically include: dissertation (optional), a Linguistics research project, computer-assisted language learning, contemporary women’s writing and African American literature 1910-1940.
