You’ll be guided in understanding assignment briefs and making plans before starting coursework. You will also develop an understanding of what skills are relevant in the professional world especially in aviation.
Aviation Finance

This module will help you to understand fundamental aviation financial and economic concepts. It’ll provide an understanding of key subjects such as financial statements ratio analysis and market structures. You’ll also gain an overview of airline financial performance the overriding reasons for their performance and airline metrics.
Airport Operations

You’ll learn how airports function as business organisations including the day-to-day management and operation of both the airside and landside environments. Large airports require the management of diverse tasks for effective operations and this module will include case studies and engagement with airport staff to bring this industry to life.
Aviation Marketing

You will examine how airlines and other aviation operators apply the principles of marketing to identify anticipate and satisfy customer requirements. Learn the basis of consumer behaviour the importance of branding the marketing techniques used by airlines and digital marketing including airline e-commerce and the use of social media.

This module takes an in-depth look at the management of airline operations. You’ll learn about the complexity of setting up and running day-to-day operations including fleet management flight operations crew pairing and rostering flight planning aircraft maintenance and management of disruptions.
Research Methods

The aim of the module is to provide you with an introduction to research methods and the skills necessary for planning and conducting research and enquiry within their field of study discipline or professional contexts.
Security in Aviation

This module explores security issues within the air transport industry from terrorism to cyber-attacks and the security procedures implemented to deal with them for both air passenger and cargo operators. You’ll study facilitation and look at the work of border force and security problems as trafficking document fraud and identity theft.
Aviation Safety and Crisis Management

This module looks at how organisations can anticipate prepare for respond to and recover from a range of incidents including hazards and the resulting risks such as severe weather events and novel emergencies. You’ll discuss a range of threats that affect the aviation industry such as security incidents terrorism and other malicious events.

Aviation Experience Project

This immersive aviation project will provide a full-time week (37 hours) of aviation experience to bring the study of aviation to life. Key trips and visits including overseas opportunities will mean learners explore the world of aviation making connections with industry professionals and visiting key industry settings.

You’ll gain an understanding of the strategic importance of data in aviation as a business tool to monitor performances extract efficiency serve clients better and outperform the competition. Key financial and operational metrics will be identified and analysed in order to drive strategic business decisions.
Sustainability and Ethics in Aviation

You’ll analyse how the industry is moving towards sustainability through initiatives and radical changes and what systems can implement and evaluate sustainability programmes. You’ll also look at Corporate Social Responsibility and the expectations of ethical business practice.

An essential module for those interested in a career in the commercial department of an airline. You’ll learn about the techniques and tools used by commercial airlines to design their network manage airport slots and allocate the right fleet both in hub-based and point-to-point networks.

Entry Requirements

You are not eligible to apply to this program because:

The minimum age is 18.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.

Minimum education level: High School.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

Application process:

Applying Online is simple in just a few steps. More information is available here.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
