Course Description
Are you interested in a career as a scientific analyst in the medicinal products and pharmaceutical sector, or related chemical industries? This course will give you a solid foundation in the chemical sciences, and you’ll develop excellent lab skills in our well-equipped laboratories.
This course will educate and train you to become a scientific analyst in the medicinal products and pharmaceutical sector, as well as related chemical industries.
It will give you a solid foundation in the chemical sciences, together with a hands-on approach to laboratory work. Access to well-equipped laboratories supports the development of a high standard of practical laboratory skills.
Specialised and industrially relevant modules in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical processes and/or the regulatory environment of the pharmachem sector are delivered at all stages.
The course is designed so that you’ll develop the skills and competencies required of a chemical analyst at all stages.
On graduation, you’ll be qualified to avail of opportunities in the pharmaceutical, chemical, computer and food & beverage industries, state laboratories, environmental testing laboratories, and hospital labs and universities. Or you can progress to ordinary and honours degree courses in TU Dublin.

In each year of the course the overall assessment has a large component of continual assessment based on the development of technical and practical skills. Continuously assessed modules appear at all stages of the course.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:
- A native English speaker
- Studied a degree in English before
- Can demonstrate a high level of English
- Having an English certificate such as IELTS level 6 or TOEFL 95 and above is an advantage.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average
A, 70%, or a
high GPA.

application ID from each university.

If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change
address at any
time
please let us know.
After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions
letter
electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable
deposit to the university.
Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the
admissions
letter and visa form to your home country.
