📖Program Curriculum
The B.S. in Healthcare Services and Informatics Administration will prepare graduates for leadership in the healthcare delivery industries that are responsible for implementation and administration of EHRs as well as other clinical information systems, security, and data analytics in all healthcare settings. Graduates will also be indispensable members of healthcare teams through their role in managing and protecting the knowledge of healthcare to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of care.
The B.S. in Healthcare Services and Informatics Administration is a four year, 120 semester hour program. Students complete two years of liberal arts and sciences classes followed by immersion in healthcare informatics administration courses. All students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Services and Informatics Administration must participate in a mandatory Capstone/Applied Learning Experience in their last semester.
The HSIA B.S. degree program is offered online in order to make the program as accessible as possible to students who may have time or geographic constraints that prevent them from attending classes on campus
