To be admitted to the baccalaureate in French studies (literary studies) international profile (6889), the candidate must first be registered in the baccalaureate in French studies (literary studies (7889) and have completed 24 credits of tuition. Students who satisfy admission requirements will be recognized for a minimum of 12 credits from the 6889 program and will obtain an “international profile” mention on their diploma. IN SHORT The purpose of the baccalaureate program in French studies of the Department of letters and social communication is to train, according to the chosen training profile, people capable of working in the fields of teaching literature, literary creation, professional writing or communication. It offers adequate training to those who wish to pursue graduate and postgraduate studies in humanities, or in related disciplines. The profile entitled Literary studies aims to analyze narrative, poetic and dramatic texts in French and Quebec literature. It is designed to lead the student to acquire knowledge and to put it into practice, among other things by experimenting with various critical approaches (sociocriticism, psychoanalysis, semiotics, rhetoric, hermeneutics, feminist, etc.), as well as to follow the evolution of genres and forms of reading and writing. This profile also introduces him to the production of original works. This training makes it possible, in particular, to pursue higher education in literature. The minimum age is 18.

English fluency is required.
You need to be either:

Minimum education level: High School.

The program is competitive, you need to have a high grades of Average A, 70%, or a high GPA.

The first steps are to choose the programs, pay the application fee and upload the application documents.

Once submitted to Global Admissions, we will review your application within 2-3 days and proceed to the university or ask you for further clarification

After it has been processed to the university you will receive your unique application ID from each university.

The university may contact you directly for further questions.

We will then follow up each week with the university for updates. As soon as there is any update we will let you know. If you have made other plans, decide to withdraw / change address at any time please let us know.

After you have been accepted you will receive your admissions letter electronically and asked to pay the non-refundable deposit to the university.

Once you have paid the deposit the university will issue you the admissions letter and visa form to your home country.
