Years 3 & 4
BE (Hons) students follow their chosen engineering discipline.
Year 5
In Year 5 it is possible to continue to a Master’s degree programme (MEngSc), subject to entry requirements. Year 5 includes professional work experience.
Course Practicalities
Expected lecture hours: Lectures usually take place from 9am to 1pm, Monday to Friday.
Written exams take place before Christmas and in May. Not all modules have formal examinations and many modules use other types of assessment.
Expected lab/practical hours: Laboratory classes and individual study are normally scheduled for the afternoons.
