The Business Technology and Communications programme will provide students with a unique blend of technology, communication skills and general business knowledge required for work in a technology driven business environment. This is a practical, skills-focused programme, exposing students to the most up-to-date technologies which will enable graduates to work as individuals or in a collaborative team across business disciplines. Students will develop an understanding of business theory and practices and attain a wide range of fundamental skills including web design, spreadsheets, accounting, marketing, management, human resource management (HRM), management information systems, effective communication skills, public relations, digital marketing, social media, supply chain management, and more. In year 3, students undertake a minimum fifteen week work placement/internship. Students will have the benefit of an academic mentor from MTU and a mentor in the workplace.
